International experts advise Georgian Prosecutor's Office to continue prosecuting SaakashviliInternational advisers of the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia advised to continue the prosecution of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in the case of the violent dispersal of the protest on November 7, 2007 and appropriation of property owned by Badri Patarkatsishvili.The evidence collected by the prosecutor's office, according to the advisers, "demonstrate a coherent plan which existed from 2005 to 2010 and which was aimed at establishing state control over the media, the elimination of protest and criticism of the government with the help of criminal acts, violence, destruction of property and fraud."
