Peskov: we cannot give orders to self-defense forces in Donbass

Russian President Vladimir Putin has some influence on self-defense forces of the Donbass, however he can not give them orders, presidential press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told Norwegian daily Dagbladet in an interview."Contrary to what NATO and European countries say, self-defense forces in Donbass are not our puppets. President Putin has some influence on them because they respect him, but he cannot order them to lay down arms," TASS cited him as saying.
