Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a protocol on the admission of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty. The Russian Ministry for Economic Development gains permission to introduce minor changes to the project adopted by the Russian government, RIA Novosti reports.Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus signed the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty in Astana on May 29, 2014. It came into force on January 1, 2015. Armenia joined the organization in January 2015, Kyrgyzstan is expected to join it in May this year.
