Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree merging the 11th and the 83rd air assault brigades and the 38th regiment with the Russian Guards for heroism, courage and endurance demonstrated in protecting the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts and peaceful times, RBC reports.
