French President Francois Hollande said after a meeting with Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev that he believes that the establishment of peace in Ukraine will contribute to the development of relations with the EAEC.
"We discussed the situation in Central Asia, the question of Ukraine," Hollande said. He stressed that France "reaffirms its commitment to the Minsk Agreement." In his turn, Atambayev said that the heads of state discussed Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EAEC, which is scheduled for May 2015.
