The Armenian Assembly of America urges the US Congress to allocate $40 million in assistance to Armenia,” the press service of the Assembly said.
“Consistent and guaranteed assistance helps to offset the impact of the blockades imposed by Turkey and Azerbaijan," Novosti-Armenia cited the Director of the Armenian Assembly of America, Bryan Ardouny.
In addition, the Assembly has asked for $5 million in assistance to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
