Russian Communist Party to present its own anti-crisis program

Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov said that the party has prepared its anti-crisis program and plans to propose it when the government reports to the State Duma deputies.

"We have prepared a program of anti-crisis measures and are ready to present it during the government's report, which will be on April 21," TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed his deputies to start immediate preparations for the report of the cabinet to the State Duma on the socio-economic situation in the country, scheduled for the last third of April. Vice-Speaker of the lower house Vladimir Vasiliev informed yesterday that the Russian government report on its activities for 2014 will be made at a meeting of the State Duma on April 21.

The date April 21 was repeatedly named in the United Russia faction, it was also mentioned by the first deputy head of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma, Sergei Reshulsky.
