President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Slovenia, Slovakia and Romania on March 30 - April 1.
Erdogan will have meetings with Slovenian President Borut Pagor on March 30, Slovakian President Andrej Kiska on March 31 and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis on April 1, as well as the prime ministers and speakers of the parliaments of these countries.
"In addition to Slovenia, Romania and Slovakia are also among the greatest supporters of Turkey's EU membership bid, and therefore Turkey's EU accession process, and negotiations will be evaluated with the aforementioned leaders. Another purpose of the visit will be to strengthen economic and trade relations with these countries," RIA Novosti cited Erdogan.
During the visit, President Erdoğan will be accompanied by the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır, the Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz and a group of Turkish businessmen.
