Iran plans to increase military presence in the Caspian

Seiyed Mahmud Musavi, a Counter Admiral and Commander of the Navy of Iran’s north province Gilan and Mazandaran, said that the a warship of Islamic Republic of Iran operates successfully in the Caspian, 1news.az reports citing Iran information agency “Mehr”.

The Counter-Admiral notified that Iran’s navy in the Persian Gulf and in the Caspian Sea has good military training. Together with the warship Iran increased the number of special naval subdivisions that protect the country’ national interest in the territory ranging from Astara to the port of Turkmenbasha.
