US President Barack Obama discussed the results of the negotiations with Iran to resolve the problem of its nuclear program with key players of his team, the official representative of the White House National Security Bernadette Meehan said.
According to her, the President convened a secure video teleconference with members of his national security team to discuss the P5+1 negotiations with Iran.
"The President received an update on the current status of the negotiations from the Secretary of State John Kerry and the Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz and other members of the negotiating team in Lausanne, Switzerland and thanked the team for their continuing efforts" TASS cited Meehan.
The official representative of the National Security Council of the White House said that the meeting was attended by 20 people: the Vice President Joseph Biden, Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, National Security Advisor Susan Rice and a number of White House lawyers and other professionals.
