Netanyahu: it's time for a better deal with Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the P5+1 world powers group to seek to improve the conditions of the deal.

"The concessions offered to Iran in Lausanne would ensure a bad deal that would endanger Israel, the Middle East and the peace of the world," RIA Novosti cited him.

"Now is the time for the international community to insist on a better deal, which would significantly roll back Iran's nuclear infrastructure and would link the eventual lifting of the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program to a change in Iran's behavior," Netayanu said.

He called on representatives in the government of Iran to "stop its terrorism throughout the world and stop its threats to annihilate Israel."

The Israeli prime minister has long criticized efforts by international mediators to reach a negotiated settlement on the peaceful use of nuclear energy in Iran.
