Russian Foreign Ministry calls NATO activities in Eastern Europe a violation of agreements

 

Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said, commenting on the deployment of NATO vehicles in Romania, that the building up of NATO forces in Eastern Europe was an unprecedented step and a violation of agreements between Russia and the Alliance, TASS reports.Lukashevich reminded that the NATO and Russia had agreed not to build up excessive forces. He emphasized the principle of mutual deterrence.
