Some 55 Turkish citizens have been evacuated from Yemen's port city of Aden, the Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.
"The Turkish navy vessel, TCG Buyukada Frigate, evacuated 55 citizens from Yemen's Aden city. They will first land in Djibouti, from where they will be transported to Turkey via Turkish Airlines," TASS cited the statement.
The ministry noted that after the launch of the Saudi-led coalition's military operation in Yemen, it had been conducting a rigorous operation to evacuate its citizens in the country.
