Iraqi Prime Minister dissatisfied with the role of US in fight against ISIS

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has criticized the US role in the fight against the militants of the terrorist group "Islamic State" (ISIS). "Baghdad was almost surrounded by ISIS, and no one, including the United States, did anything," he says.

The Iraqi Prime Minister reproached Washington for not providing Baghdad with quick and effective help in the fight against the militants.

At the same time, al-Abadi positively evaluates Iraq's cooperation with the National Intelligence Service of Germany, saying that the country's intelligence officials informed Baghdad about German citizens who have joined the ISIS. The Iraqi Prime Minister also drew attention to the fact that Germany was supplying the weapons necessary for the security forces to fight the terrorists, RIA Novosti reports.

In addition, he appreciates Iran's  support in supplying Iraq with weapons and advisers.
