The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Iran on an official visit on April 7. This was announced on his website today.
Erdogan's visit will be held at the official invitation of President Hassan Rouhani. Its agenda will include bilateral talks between the states with the discussion of regional and global issues, and a meeting with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In addition, Erdogan will participate in the second meeting of the Turkish-Iranian High Level Cooperation Council, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, the Turkish President expressed his intention not to travel to Tehran, but at the moment Ankara is concerned about Tehran's position regarding the situation in Yemen, media presume.
