The Victory Day parade on Red Square on May 9 will bring together 25 leaders of foreign countries and several international organizations. This is reported today by the head of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Ivanov.
"I cannot give you the ultimate figure now, because nobody knows it yet. Some foreign leaders are still deciding, and only at the beginning of May will we be able to announce the figure, and we will definitely do so. As of today, 25 state leaders and several international organizations have confirmed their participation. In addition, the military parade on the square will include at least 10 so-called "boxes," represented by foreign armies," Interfax quotes Ivanov.
"The main thing is that Victory Day is our holiday. And it is usual to invite friends and family for a holiday. Whoever will or will not come, Russia will handle any situation. This is anyway our holiday," Sergey Ivanov concludes.
