Three citizens of the Russian North Caucasus have used the visaless regime put in operation today to cross the border with Georgia, according to the head of the Georgian Interior Ministry's administration, Shota Khizanishvili, RIA Novosti reports.
The new regime presupposes 90 visa-free days in Georgia for citizens of Russia registered in the republics of the North Caucasus - Chechnya, Ingushetia, North Ossetia, Kabardino-balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia and Adygea. They can cross the border by showing any document approving the registered living place.
