Turkish diaspora in the US starts protest against "Armenian genocide"

On April 5th a Turkish diaspora organization started protests In Washington, New York, Texas and Massachusetts in connection with the promotion of the events of 1915 as "genocide" by the Armenians.

 

The protest actions were held under the slogan "Unite us, don't divide." A steering committee organized by 145 Turkish-American community organizations in the United States has placed huge billboards at stopping points on the Washington metro and bus lines.

 

Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of Turkey - the Ottoman Empire - committed "genocide" against Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915. Armenians, strengthening allegations of "genocide" in the world, have achieved its recognition as "genocide" by the parliaments of some countries.
