The Investigative Committee of Armenia released a statement saying that they have prevented the organizing of mass disorder at the places of public events to be held in Armenia on April 24, the centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
Pavel Manukyan, a representative of Armenia’s opposition Founding Parliament initiative, and several other initiative members have been detained today.
The opposition '100th Anniversary Without the Regime' movement issued a respective message, where they call for any active actions to change the power in the country.
