Georgian lawmakers to take part in in Council of Europe's Venice Commission

A Georgian parliamentary delegation will participate in the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe. Trend reported that the Georgian delegation is headed by the chairman of the committee for legal issues, Pavel Kublashvili.


The commission will view the Georgian constitutional project on October 15. The parliament plans to approve the Constitution in the third reading on the same day. The commission recommended Georgia not to adopt it before the final recommendations.


Kublashvili emphasized that the recommendations of the Venice Commission are of great importance. The previous recommendations helped compose the modern Constitution.
