Saakashvili welcomes Ukrainian delegation

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and the delegation from Ukraine, headed by the chairman of the parliamentary committee for regulatory policy and business, Natalya Korolevskaya, have discussed the  improvement of Georgian-Ukrainian political and economic ties, Georgia Online reports.


Special attention was paid to the investment climate. They also discussed Georgian reforms.


Korolevskaya noted that she has already viewed the reforms in the civil and public registry. She said that they have been talking about reforms for 19 years and Georgia was among the leaders in the sphere,  and that its reforms were fast and effective.


Saakashvili said that part of Georgia's policy of decentralization reform was to distribute power between Batumi, Kutaisi, where parliament was moved to, and parts of other structures, allowing Tbilisi to develop.
