Iranian leader suspects mediators of trickery

 

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei fears that some members of the Group of Six mediators may be untrustworthy. As an example, he pointed out the clarifications for the framework agreement reached with Iran in Lausanne in April that the White House had published, Interfax reports.Khamenei claimed that the published version of the document differed from the true terms. In his words, the country needed peaceful nuclear energy in medicine, agriculture and other sectors. He added that Islamic rules and common sense guaranteed that no nuclear weapons would be developed.
