Ukrainian President Poroshenko said at the meeting with US Senator Rob Portman that he expects the support of the United States in ensuring compliance with the Minsk agreements.
"We are currently defending global security and global democracy. If we lose this battle, the whole of global security will lose," Gazeta.ru cited him.
According to the Ukrainian President, Kiev is doing everything that is possible to implement the Minsk agreements.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, discussed the cooperation between the US and Ukraine in reforming the Ukrainian judicial system with Senator Robert Portman.
