Russia's envoy to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that the European Commission has no formal reasons to oppose the construction of the Turkish Stream.
"The European Commission shouldn't have formal reasons to prevent the Turkish Stream project. Obviously, a certain factor is a purely political interest in maintaining transit through Ukraine," TASS cited him as saying.
