State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said that attempts to isolate Russia and ignore its position are useless and counterproductive.
According to Naryshkin, "Russia can and should make a special contribution to key discussions on the whole range of international issues. Therefore, attempts to isolate Russia and neglect Russia's opinion are counterproductive and useless," TASS cited Naryshkin as saying.
Naryshkin also believes that it is necessary to assess those facts that "the US is holding intense negotiations on the conclusion of two major economic agreements - with the EU on transatlantic trade and investment cooperation and Trans-Pacific partnership with 12 states in the region."
The synthesis of ignorance and arrogance of the US led, in his opinion, to an imbalance in the system of international security institutions.
