Today the State Duma held a meeting of members of the committee on Foreign Affairs with a delegation of the Iranian parliament headed by the the chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi. The head of the International Committee of the State Duma, Alexei Pushkov, said that the parliamentarians of Russia and Iran need to expand cooperation.
According to him, the committee members appreciate the relationship with the parliament of Iran and, in particular, with the international committee. He noted that the deputies have the most pleasant memories of their visit to Tehran.
