Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahi have discussed Russia’s lifting the ban on shipments of the S-300 anti-missile complexes to Iran in a telephone conversation, Interfax reports.The conversation was initiated by the Israeli side.Putin reminded that the systems had solely defensive purpose and posed no threat to Israel or any other country in the Middle East.Besides the anti-missile problem, the leaders touched upon other issues of the international and regional agenda.
