Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has met the General Secretary of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, before returning to Tehran, Trend reports, citing Press TV.
The meeting was held in the Iranian embassy in Beirut, where the results of Ahmadinejad’s visit to Lebanon were discussed.
Nasrallah presented the Iranian president with a pistol “confiscated” by Hezbollah from an Israeli serviceman.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had a two-day visit to the capital of Lebanon, Beirut. He met top officials, political leaders, social figures, scientists and students in Beirut and southern Lebanon.
They concluded 17 agreements on energy, construction, agriculture and other spheres.
Last night Ahmadinejad went to Beirut airport to return to Tehran.
