US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta met with IDP families from Kalbajar.
The Ambassador noted that it became clear from the conversation with them that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not an abstract conflict. "The conflict has humanitarian aspects that have consequences. We witnessed it during the conversation. Although the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is called a frozen conflict, in fact, the case is different. Every day, instances of losses are recorded on the line of contact,” APA cited the diplomat.
The Ambassador said that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs "are trying to arrange a meeting of the presidents. The main goal is to bring the parties together and achieve progress towards a peaceful solution to the conflict," Cekuta said.
