Talks between Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a narrow format started in Astana.
It is expected that within a few hours the heads of State will make a joint statement, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.
Astana will host the second meeting of the Council on Strategic Cooperation with the participation of high-level leaders of the two countries, the press service of Kazakhstan said.
