Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at a session of the national council for reforms today that free medicine was a myth used by politicians to fool people, thus it should be gone, RIA Novosti reports.He explained that the government could not pay for all medical services. Medicine, in Poroshenko’s opinion, needs reforms.The Ukrainian leader added that a decree was signed, stipulating purchase of medicine from WHO and UNICEF. The budget would save up to 40% of funds spent on medicine.
