Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, commenting on the resolution of the European Parliament recognizing the Armenian genocide of 1915, said that the European Parliament should worry more about Indian tribes in America, natives of Australia and tribes of Africa killed by colonizers instead of worrying about the Armenian genocide, RIA Novosti reports.
Davutoglu noted that he had urged the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz to check history and the fate of the said natives. He added that Ankara was expressing condolences over the tragic events of 1915. The PM reminded that Turks and Armenians had coexisted for millenia, Turkey had never had ghettos. In order to normalize relations with Turkey, Armenia should make concessions to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh process, Davutoglu clarified.
