The European Union has welcomed contracts between Azerbaijani and Armenian political forces, the head of the EU's office in Azerbaijan, Roland Kobia, said at a meeting with Azerbaijani and Armenian political parties in Baku this week, within the framework of the Socialist International session.
He believes that any opportunity for dialogue is necessary, News.am reports.
Two members of ARF Dashnaktsutyun visited Baku last week to participate in the Socialist International session. There were reports about the signing of a joint declaration by South Caucasian liberals to fight for democracy. The Armenian National Movement and the Azerbaijani party ‘Musavat’ signed the document.
