The opposition Armenian National Congress is preparing another meeting, which will be held today at 18:00 in front of the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, Matenadaran. The mayor’s office of Yerevan did not allow a meeting to be held on Freedom Square, Armenian media report.
The Armenian National Congress said that the topics are the political and economic repercussions of Armenian corruption, which is reaching catastrophic scales, and ways of restoring democracy in Armenia. The first Armenian President, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and other opposition leaders will make speeches at the meeting, Armenia Today reports.
