Over the past week more than 90 thousand people have left their homes in western Iraq's Anbar province because of attacks by militants of the terrorist group Islamic State.
"We are greatly concerned about the safety of people, the situation is urgent, only immediate measures can save their lives," the coordinator of the UN on Humanitarian Issues in Iraq Lise Grande said.
As representatives of the organization reported, since January of last year at least 2.7 million Iraqis have left their homes, 400,000 of them are refugees from Anbar province.
