Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan arrives in Baku today on an official visit at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov.
He will meet representatives of the political and military leadership of the country to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest, according to Iranian media.
The visit, carried out in response to the visit of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan to Iran in April 2014, aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the military sphere, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
