Public transport in Krasnodar switches to electronic payments

Krasnodar has launched a system of electronic payments for public transport. Special terminals for transportation cards for trams and trolleybuses have been installed, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the press service of the municipality.

All the city's trams and trolleybuses, as well as 28 buses, have special terminals for reading data from the passengers’ electronic tickets, the press service reported. A group of companies under the name "Golden Crown" is the investor in the project.

According to Anatoly Panin, the head of the Krasnodar management for trams and trolleybuses, such “electronic purses” are convenient for all those involved in the project.
