Iran and Azerbaijan will actively cooperate in manufacturing defense industry products. The agreement was reached during talks between Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan and Azeri Minister of Defense Industry Yavar Jamalov, TASS reports with reference to the FARS news agency.
"The defense industry exchanges can help enhance technical cooperation in military fields. Continued cooperation will benefit both countries," the Iranian minister said.
Yavar Jamalov and Hossein Dehqan stressed the need to enhance cooperation in manufacturing defense industry products, noting that this will reinforce their defense power and result in tranquility, security and stability in the region.
