Ukraine intends to "rebuff Russia’s armed aggression"

Ukraine’s parliament adopted a resolution "on rebuffing Russia’s armed aggression and overcoming its aftermath." A total of 259 MPs voted in favor of the decision, above the required minimum of 226 votes.

An explanatory note says the bill is aimed at "creating legal grounds for submitting a consolidated claim against the Russian Federation in connection with the armed aggression against Ukraine."

The Ukrainian lawmakers demand that Russia should immediately release all the prisoners and pull out all the Russian armed units from Ukraine’s territory, as well as implement the Minsk agreements regarding the full restoration of control over the state border on the part of Ukraine, to immediately return Crimea to Ukraine and also stop sending humanitarian convoys for Donbass citizens via the Ukrainian state border.
