Azerbaijan will form new crosswalks and subways according to amendments the parliament plans to pass in the traffic law. The amendments stipulate formation of crosswalks near centers of education, healthcare, trade, sports, tourism and recreation and bus stops.Crosswalks on roads running through residential areas will be set 400-800m apart. Crosswalks on other roads will be 150-300m away from each other.Crosswalks will also be formed on roads with a width of over 14m, crossed by over 3,000 pedestrians an hour and over 300 vehicles an hour.
