The Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus, Lev Kuznetsov, is celebrating his 50th birthday today.
The head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, sent his congratulations on this occasion. "Today I sincerely welcome the opportunity to congratulate Lev Vladimirovich Kuznetsov on his 50th anniversary! I knew him as an effective governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory, and now he continues to work as the Minister for the North Caucasus," he wrote on his page on Instagram.
The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza noted that he has known Lev Kuznetsov for a long time, and can judge him not only as a minister for the North Caucasus, but also taking into account his achievements as governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory. "His most important quality is that in becoming a federal minister he has not changed, and has showed himself to be a deeply decent, responsible person, who cares for our Caucasus even more than we do," Yevkurov said and congratulated the Minister on his birthday.
Lev Kuznetsov was born in 1965 in Moscow. He served in the Armed Forces from 1983 to 1985. He graduated from the State Finance Academy in 1990.
From February 17, 2010 he has served as acting governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory after serving as Adviser on Economic Matters to Alexander Khloponin and the First Deputy Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory.
On May 12, 2014 he was appointed the head of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus.
