Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev urged citizens of the republic to take part in the upcoming presidential elections.
"I am addressing all of you with a request to come to electoral districts. The more voters will take part in the elections, the more convincing we are going to show the world that we are truly a united nation. It will help to strengthen trust, allow to attract even more investments for further development of Kazakhstan, which will increase the level of living standards of the population," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"I am confident that Kazakhstanis will choose the policy of stability, development, improvement, strengthening of peace and accord in our country," Nazarbayev said.
He also noted that more than 1000 foreign observers from about 40 countries and 200 international mass media companies will be monitoring these elections.
