Kyrgyzstan may not be able to join the EEU on May 8, says Ministry of Economy

Acting Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev told President Almazbek Atambayev that there is a risk that the treaty of accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the Protocol thereto won’t be ratified by the sides until May 8 because of lack of time.

He summed up the outcome of the Moscow meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the level of Deputy Prime Ministers. During the meeting the question of the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU was addressed.
