The Turkish Prime Minister said on Friday that no requests have been made yet on deployment of a proposed NATO anti-missile system in Turkey, World Bulletin reports. Erdogan said that his government has not received any offers so far.
Earlier in the day, Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul said that Turkey was negotiating the proposed NATO missile defense system, stressing however, that the matter has not yet been settled. Gonul denied allegations that the US was pushing Turkey to make a decision on the issue."
