Iran has been invited to international consultations on the assessment of fulfillment of the Geneva Communique for Syria. Staffan de Mistura, a special envoy of UN and LAS to Syria, will hold the consultations in Geneva in May, RIA Novosti reports.Ahmad Fauzi of the UN office in Geneva and Mistura’s office confirmed the invitation.The consultations were set for May 4. They are expected to continue for 4-6 months.
