Fighting may again escalate in Ukraine's south-eastern regions at any moment, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at the opening of the International Conference on Support for Ukraine.
"The Minsk agreements reached at the talks should be implemented in full via coordination by Ukraine's partners," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"War may erupt at any moment, but we are prepared to do everything we can to erase any possibility of doubt or retreat," Poroshenko said.
In addition, the President said that he expects help from the West in the south-east of the country. "Today, Ukraine needs Europe and the West to be united (on the matter of Donbass)," Poroshenko said.
