Obama: US and Japan to counter aggression in Ukraine

US President Barack Obama said at a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the White House that the two states were global partners advocating security and human dignity all over the world, TASS reports.

In his words, Washington and Tokyo were both standing against Russian aggression in Ukraine, helping the peaceful population repressed by ISIS, combating Ebola and aiding the population of Nepal.

The US, in Obama's words, supports Japan in the dispute around the Senkaku (Diaoyudao) Islands with China and advocates denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Abe praised Washington for turning to Asia and expressed confidence in the enforcement of the determent potential.
