President Barack Obama has urged Turkey and Armenia to undertake all possible efforts to normalize relations and to ratify the protocols on establishing diplomatic relations, RIA Novosti reports.
Obama noticed that normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey is in the interest of the Armenian people.
The meeting was held behind closed doors in the network of the summit on nuclear security being held in Washington. Yesterday Sargsyan also met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Washington.
