The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Grigory Karasin, said that the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, will make an official visit to Moscow.
"We’re preparing for Minister Mammadyarov's official visit to Moscow now," he said.
"Azerbaijan is an important strategic partner for Russia. Our relations are based on the principles of equitability and good-neighborliness, as well as on the age-old traditions of friendship and mutual respect. Development of relations between our two countries is objectively working towards stability and security in the South Caucasus and in the Caspian littoral area," TASS cited him as saying.
