Iranian destroyers continue patrolling Bab-el-Mandeb Strait

Two Iranian destroyers continue patrolling the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait between Djibouti and Yemen, despite warnings from US ships, according to Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the commander of the Iranian Naval Forces, TASS reports.

The destroyers protect the Gulf of Aden from pirates. They will stay in the area until June 22, when other ships will replace them.
